Welcome New Boarder!!!
We would like to welcome Amelia and her horse Winter to COF. Winter is a 9 yr. old, 17.1 hand, Thoroughbred, gelding. They both moved here from Texas. Amelia has competed Winter at the Novice Level in combined training and now looks forward to seeing the facilities in Florida, especially since in Texas her closest event facility was 4 hours away! Florida Horse Park Fall Horse Trials!!!
We had a very successful weekend at the Florida Horse Park's Fall horse trials. Heidi Hook and her horse Green Willow Isabelle, 'Hops', competed in their very first USEA recognized event and the Horse Park's very first Entry Level division. The team won the division finishing on their dressage score. Great job and congratulations! Leah also competed Pamiro W. in the Preliminary division, First Impression, and Kildalton's Pride in the Novice Horse division. All the horses and riders had an educational and safe weekend. Happy Halloween!!!
Gabrielle and new student, Jordan, won the costume contest at the South Creek Pony Club Halloween party. The girls dressed up as angels and Sebastian dressed up as the devil. We all had a great time. (October 2007)
Fannin Hill Farm Event!!!
Team COF, Tina, Kristen, and Leah had a great event finishing 4th in the Team division. All riders finished first in their divisions after dressage. First Impression ridden by Leah had a great dressage ride. The team scored a 22.5, the lowest score in the whole show. They had a little hesitation in show jumping due to very muddy footing but a clear x.c run to finish 4th. Shaw and Kristen completed all 3 phases in 3rd place in both horse and riders' first event. Tina and Houston had a very successful day and finished 1st in their division. Great job everyone! Thank you Jitka for the photos. (October 2007)

Tina Wells won Reserved Grand Champion at both Training Level and Intro Level on her two horses Suntasia and Dallas at the recent Lakeland Dressage Association show at Black Dog Farm. Keep up the good work. (September 2007)
Great Job Kristen and Shaw!!!
Kristen and Shaw, owned by Diane Springford, competed in both horse and riders' very first dressage show. The pair competed at Fannin Hill Farm in the Training Level Test 1 and 2 classes. They scored a 62.61% in their first class and with more confidence going into the second test, the team scored a 69.64%. They won both classes. Very well done! Kristen started as Leah's working student last December. She is 16 years old and a junior at Gaither High School. (September 2007)

We would like to welcome Olivia Von Glahn and her horse Elvis as well as Colleen Shulmister and her horse Misty. Both girls are 13 years old and started taking dressage lessons this August. (August 2007)

We would like to welcome Ted and his owner Fran into the barn. Ted is an 11 year old, 16.1 hand, Chestnut, Thoroughbred, gelding. Ted is here for full training and Fran plans to take some lessons as well. We look forward to working with both of you. (August 2007)
River Glen Horse Trials!!!

Leah and Pamiro W. finished 1st at River Glen. The team moved into first after dressage with a score of 32.1. Will brilliantly jumped stadium with a double clear round, which was one of very few. After a clear cross country finish, the team secured first place by more than 12 points. Thanks to River Glen for the great show and prizes. (August 2007)
Gabrielle and Sebastian!!!
Gabrielle now has her very own pony. Sebastian is a 20 year old, small, Welsh pony owned by Monica Ruggley. Sebastian is also available for childrens' lessons. Please see our lessons page for more information. (August 2007)

We would like to welcome Michelle Campbell and her horse Kit into the barn. Kit is a 5 year old, 16.2 hand, Thoroughbred, mare. Michelle bought Kit off the track and after working with Leah for a few months decided to move Kit to COF. (August 2007)

Welcome New Boarder!!!
We would like to welcome Shaw into the barn. He is an 8 year old, 17.0 hand, Irish Thoroughbred, gelding. Shaw traveled all the way here from Wyoming, with a quick stop in Virginia for a couple of months. We look forward to training and developing Shaw. (June 2007)
Welcome New Boarder!!!
First Impression, known in the barn as Kelsey has arrived from Louisiana. She is a 15.3 hand, Chestnut, Oldenburg Cross, mare. Her owner Kim, was stationed at MacDill Air Force base last fall and spent four months training with us at COF. Kim was a wonderful friend and asset to all the boarders, horses, and Leah's event team having groomed at a number of winter shows. Kim continues her tour in June when she leaves for a year in Korea. We are very excited to train and compete Kelsey over the next fifteen months. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Kim. (April 2007)
Rocking Horse IV Spring Horse Trials!!!
Congrats Leah and Will on your lowest dressage score yet, 26.8! The score placed the pair in 2nd place in a field of 20 plus horses. Keep up the good work. (March 2007)
Ocala Winter II Horse Trials!!!
Congratulations Leah and Will on the first place finish at the Florida Horse Park. They scored a 34 in dressage and held the score through cross country and stadium to win the training level division.
