Citrus Oaks Farm is a combined training facility. We specialize in correct dressage training and its relation to show jumping and cross country jumping. Citrus Oaks Farm offers basic board in conjunction with a training program appropriate for horse and/or rider. Basic board alone is not offered.




Basic Board Includes:


Two (2) feedings per day: to include concentrate and hay of up to 4 flakes per day.

Daily stall cleaning.

Automatic waterers and stall guards appropriate for each horse and stall.

Automatic fly spray system set to go off 3-5 times a day depending on the season.

Fans throughout the barn.

Daily turnout, weather and footing permitted. We will not turn horses out if management decides conditions to be too dangerous for employees or your horse.

Mineral blocks.

Seven week rotational worming program.

Monthly psyllium treatment for prevention of sand related colics.

Blanketing, sheeting, and booting when appropriate.

Rinsing after turnout when appropriate.

Use of Citrus Oaks Farm’s facilities to include dressage arena, jump field, tack room, wash and grooming stalls.





Boarder Agrees:


To a cooperative attitude to the smooth operation of the stable’s activities and the enjoyment of the facilities by all clients.

To keep the tack room and stall front areas clean and free of clutter, to clean up after his/her horse both in the wash and grooming stalls and in the aisle.

To pay for any Citrus Oaks Farm property damaged by his/her horse.

To use only his/her tack and supplies and not to borrow items from others without their permission.

To not compete with or undercut Citrus Oaks Farm extra services.

To not retain the services of another trainer on Citrus Oaks Farm property.

To give 30 days advanced notice, to terminate board agreement and remove horse from Citrus Oaks Farm. Failure to give 30 days notice will result in a $225 non-compliance charge.

To schedule in advance any pre-purchased lessons. Missed scheduled lessons may not be made up if management can not reschedule the lesson for that week. A farm credit or refund may not be given.

To a $25 service fee for bounced checks.

To a $25 service fee for any checks Citrus Oaks Farm has to write to cover their horse's farrier bill, vet bill, or any service bill.

To follow and abide by all stable rules of safety and etiquette.





Training Packages

Partial Training Board

Includes all basic board services and
8 lessons per month
(usually 1 private dressage lesson and 1 group jumping lesson per week)

OR

Training and grooming 8 days per month.
(usually 2 training rides per week)

 

Full Training Program

Includes all basic board services and
18 lessons per month
(4 or 5 lessons per week)

OR

Full training and grooming 18 days per month.
(4 or 5 training rides per week)

 


Training rides and lessons are interchangeable with proper notice from client.

Showing horses
Trailer loading training
Hauling
Bathing/Grooming
Clipping
Assistance for Vet/Farrier
Daily rate for stabling is $20 per horse. Owners are expected to provide their horse with concentrate and hay.

Fees for these services vary.

 


Release and Hold Harmless Agreement

Whereas, the undersign acknowledges the inherent risks involved in riding and working around horses, which risks include bodily injury from using, riding, or being in close proximity of horses, among other risks, and further, both horse and rider can be injured in normal use, competition, schooling, or daily handling. Being fully cognizant of the risks and dangers inherent in equine activities, I hereby hold harmless and free from liability, Citrus Oaks Farm LLC, Leah Khorsandian-Podracky, Sheriar Khorsandian, Jan Khorsandian, the Khorsandian Family and Citrus Oaks Farm staff for any loss, injury, damage, accident, or illness to myself, my animals and equipment while participating in or being on Citrus Oaks Farm property. This waiver, release, and idemnification agreement shall be binding upon my heirs, successors, and/or assigns.

WARNING: UNDER FLORIDA LAW, AN EQUINE ACTIVITY SPONSOR OR EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, OR THE DEATH OF, A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISK OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES.
 

 

By signing below, the boarder is agreeing to the above mentioned Release and Hold Harmless Agreement as well as the conditions stated in Citrus Oaks Farm LLC board agreement.
